The story of Aadi and his best friend Vigneshkanth simply begins after a few scenes in his school life as they enter engineering college. Ironically, they find two girls at the college who were their school friends. Aadi falls in for one of them, Nila Aathmika , and she begins to impress. After a few hiccups in the first year, such as ragging by seniors, coping with the syllabus pressure, etc. Nila, too, responds to his feelings positively. Yet history has something special in store for them.
The two families' familial status and caste become a hurdle. The couple finds it harder to even meet as college life gets over. In the meantime, Aadi asks his father to pursue his passion for a year and promises him that if nothing materializes during the period, he would forget his love too.
In search of opportunities, he sets out to Chennai, when the future of his romantic life seems bleak. Vivekh is appropriate in his role as a caring father and has scored in several scenes. Vijayalakshmi, as the mother of the protagonist, and Aathmika all fit in their roles, while it's the college characters who are entertaining enough to make the audience sit and watch throughout.
Vigneshkanth and the other characters that occasionally appear are hilarious and apt to support roles. A little more influence over first-half storytelling may have made this a magnificent entertainer on campus.

One of my Tamizh Friends suggested me this movie and then I watched it again and again and again because I loved it.
